Governance System Description | The qoliqoli is for the village only. Management decisions are ultimately made by the chief.
Tabu establishment: 2010. IAS-USP was the FLMMA co-management partner that assisted with LMMA planning. There was also an old tabu near another village which does not exist anymore due to poaching. When this old tabu was in existence, it was once harvested for the previous chief’s funeral. This tabu was removed after the tabu moved to the current site in 2010.
